A little sick

Claire has been running a temperature this weekend, besides the fever she seems OK, no runny nose or ear ache.  We think her 2 year molars are starting to break through and that is why she has a fever.  Tomorrow she is staying home with mommy. 

On Saturday Cory and Claire left some corn outside for the birds.  That night seven deer stopped by our back window to eat the corn.  Claire got a chance to see them up close from the window and she was fascinated.  We asked her how many deer were outside and she said 'seven'.  We could only see five from the couch, but when Cory got up to look out the window, he saw two more by the other feeder.  Claire was right, she counted seven deer! Throughout the day she kept telling us: "No deer, deer sleeping, deer tired." 

Claire is really loving her easel.  We painted a lot of pictures this weekend.  She likes when I draw different shapes and then she colors over them.  Her favorite shapes are circles and parallelograms, although when Claire says it sounds more like 'lelogams'.
