This past weekend Nana, Papa, and Aunt Sarah came down to visit and give Claire her own kitchen. She loves to help us cook in the real kitchen, so she was thrilled to have one of her own. By Sunday she spend at least 30 minutes straight making Julie and I tea and serving it to us. And despite never having a real phone at home since she was born, she knew just what to do with the play cordless phone hanging up in the toy kitchen.
On Sunday we are heading to Buffalo to spend the first part of Christmas with Nana and Papa, then off to Rochester on Christmas day. We will try to update with photos and videos of the festivities.
From our family to yours Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
On Saturday, Claire got to wear a sweater that Great Grandma Shirley gave to Daddy when he was Claire's age, its handmade in Ireland.
'Hello'
'How many cups of tea did you want?'
'Three cups delivered to the north pole?'
'Hey, this sounds a lot like daddy...'
'You want it when?'
'Send me three of those flying reindeer and we got a deal!'
'Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree...'
