First overnight away

To celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary (technically Monday, 7/9) Claire got to spend the night at Nana and Papa's house.  It was her first overnight sleepover without mom or dad.  On Saturday morning when Claire saw Nana's car pull up she said 'Nana, Papa'; it still surprising to see what she remembers.  She was very excited to "Go", and said it repeatedly as we packed her stuff in to the car.  Claire had an excellent time, she went to the local town park with a splash pool.  We celebrated our anniversary by finishing tearing up the carpet on the stairs and in our bedroom, so romantic.  After our work was done we had a night out (toddler free!).  Nana and Papa drove Claire back on Sunday morning and while she definitely missed us, it was clear that she was sad to see the fun times leave.
