8 months

These photos are action shots because keeping an active 8 month old still for pictures is pretty much impossible.

Claire at 8 months: 

• Weighs 20lbs, from Monday's doctor's appointment.
• Wears size 12 - 18 month clothes.
• Eats 3 'meals' a day.  For breakfast - oatmeal; lunch - more oatmeal, vegetable, and fruit; dinner - vegetable and fruit.  We introduced her to meats this week and she really liked the beef with vegetables.
• Crawling all over the place and getting very fast.  She does a more 'normal' crawl, but occasionally drags her leg.
• LOVES crawling up the steps from the family room to the living room.  At the top she turns around and wants to go back down the steps head first.  Of course we stop her, put her back down in the family room, she protests, and crawls back up the steps.   This game provides hours of entertainment.  
• When she is not crawling, she is pulling up on everything.  Her favorite is pulling up the person closest to her.
• When she pulls up on the sofa, she tries to move side to side - cruising is right around the corner.  
• Babbling a lot more, she makes 'bababa' and 'dadada' sounds.  She even makes one that sounds a lot like 'daddy'.  It's really sweet. 
• If you take an object away that she wants, she will let you know that she doesn't like it one bit....so you better give it back soon.  
• Loves bath time.  She likes splashing in the tub, playing with her rubber duckies, but having her hair washed - well, not so much.
