Not working!

During our Ikea trip we got Claire a potty chair and left it in the family room so she could get used to the idea of potty training.  Our plan is to start potty training this summer, when I am off from work.  Claire has sat on the chair a few times but hasn't done anything on it.  On Sunday morning Claire told me she had a poopy diaper and needed a diaper change.  Claire usually doesn't fake us out, so I was surprised when her diaper was completely dry.  She told me "pee-pee on the potty."  I put her on the potty chair and to my surprise she peed in the potty!  I gave her one M&M as a reward.  Later that morning she wanted to sit on the potty again.  After sitting there for a few seconds nothing happened.  She got up and told us "not working".  I think she really wanted another M&M.  We did have another success at lunch time.  After her nap she wasn't really interested in the potty.  We are not pushing the issue right now, we plan on offering her the option and following her cues (the M&Ms are very motivating).  But we are excited about our initial success!
