Claire's sickness now spread to Julie and I as well,  leading to the delay in posting. Claire is starting to recover from a bad ear infection and is on a strong antibiotic to clear it out. Despite her sickness she has continued to be cute. On Saturday morning there were very large snow flakes outside, she was looking out the window and getting really excited. She looked at me and said 'Dada bubbles outside, more bubbles, more bubbles!' She thought that the snowflakes were thousands of bubbles just for her.

Claire doesn't watch much TV, the one indulgence is football; she even asks for football each morning. So during the wildcard playoffs we let her watch some football and cuddle. Each time I would leave the room to cook dinner, she would yell "touchdown Daddy!' I would come back into the room and she would say 'silly Daddy,' there was no touchdown but she knew how to get me back to play.

In order to get Claire to take her medicine we have been finding any bribe possible, the most recent is Kit Kats, left over from Halloween. She now will sing the song asking for one.
