A little bite

Yesterday I got a call at work from daycare.  Claire's teacher Maureen told me there had been a biting incident.  My first thought was 'oh no, who did Claire bite.'  Turns out Claire was the one bitten by a classmate.  I think Maureen was a bit confused by my relief when I said: 'Oh thank goodness. I thought you were going to tell me Claire bit another child.'  Thankfully the bite did break the skin and Claire was more upset by ice they tried to apply to her than the bite itself.
