Sick little girl

On Wednesday night Claire had a little difficulty falling asleep, and it took almost 40 minutes of rocking and soothing to get her to bed. On Thursday morning she woke up very warm and running a fever, by lunchtime it spiked to 103.6. We took her to the doctor who said it was viral and might be hand, foot and mouth disease. We won't know for sure until this weekend. In the mean time she has been very cuddly and has wanted to sleep in our arms (a flash back to when she was a baby). We were able to get her fever down to 100 before bed with a cool bath and alternating Advil and Tylenol every three hours as per doctor's instructions. We are hoping the fever breaks overnight and she is back to her smiling social self in the morning.
