This past weekend, Mom went to Rochester for a Bachelorette wine tour and bridal shower. At the same time Grandpa came down to visit and go on a fishing trip with Uncle Dan and Cousin Jack. Grandpa showed up extra early and surprised Claire and I at breakfast. Claire's reaction was priceless, she started shuttering and breathing really heavy when Grandpa came in. It was the same reaction I would expect if we gave her a pony.
She missed Grandma (in Claire's eyes they are a package deal) but Claire enjoyed being spoiled. When Grandma called to check in, Claire enjoyed talking on the phone.
She even gave the phone a good bye kiss for Grandma.
Grandpa made Claire a blueberry snowman
'Will you take me to go see the kitties?'
'I got this tent thing, put this pole in here.'
Water break after assembling the tent, Claire says thank you for the new portable play house.
