Claire is feeling much better. Mom and Dad, not so good, we are discovering the joys of catching the germs Claire brings home. Besides being sick we had a nice weekend. Cory had to work on Saturday so Claire and I hung around the house most of the day since the weather was unpredictable. In the afternoon we stopped by Walmart to pick up a few things. Walmart provides Claire an afternoon of entertainment: she gets to ride in the shopping cart, wave to all the people, and I let her roam the shoe aisle. She brings me different shoes to look at, then we place them back and she gets me another pair. Saturday night we went out to dinner and Claire entertained the tables around us by waving and laughing. On Sunday we went grocery shopping and Claire said what sounded like "hello" to the cashier.
In other Claire news she is getting better with whole milk in a sippy cup. A few weeks ago she would chuck the sippy cup of milk off her tray. Now she will take a few sips. It is progress and we are thrilled.
Claire is starting to use a spoon to eat. She can't scoop her food on the spoon yet, but if we place the food on her spoon she can make it to her mouth.
