Easter Part Three

Since it's the end of a short week for us, I figured we would finish off the photos from the weekend as well as three videos. One of the funnier moments from the past weekend was Claire outsmarting us all. On Sunday night the photo rang and Claire noticed the cordless phone on a side table next to the overstuffed chair. Grandma put the phone back on the receiver and Claire demanded politely pouted until she got the phone. For the next 20 minutes we tried to get it back from her and with some distraction we finally did. We then hid the phone behind a couch cushion for another 15 minutes until we were sure she had forgotten about it, then put it back on the charger. After playing all over the house she came up to Grandma sitting on the ottoman and motioned that she wanted sit on the chair. Claire normally doesn't like to sit on any furniture that isn't specially designed for someone her size. Grandma helped her out, she smiled really big...then lunged for the phone on the table next to the chair. She knew the only way she could get the phone back was to fake us out. We all got a good laugh out of it, and know are wondering if she has been outsmarting us all along.

This weekend Aunt Becky and Uncle Dan are coming down to play with Claire while mommy spends some time with friends at the spa and gets some much needed pampering.
