Bottles?

For the past several weeks we have been moving Claire from bottles to sippy cups of whole milk.  Last week at daycare they offered her a bottle once a day and she was not interested.  Yesterday we went bottle free, they didn't offer her any bottles at daycare.  And for the first time in over a year we didn't have to wash any bottles!

At daycare she drinks milk and water from a cup.  Daycare doesn't use sippy cups, they use regular cups.  When they told us in August that around her first birthday they would transition Claire from a bottle to a cup, I had my doubts.  But Claire drinks really well from a cup (although I think it looks like a plastic shot glass).  At home we use sippy cups, because we are not that brave. And with that, we got a bag full of clean bottles back from school when we picked her up today.

The other milestone is we are now letting her roam all around the first floor of the house. She is no longer willing to be contained by the baby gates, so now she goes in circles around our house.
