Two steps closer to Christmas

Claire is doing more standing on her own. Her record this weekend was 25 seconds.  She even managed two steps towards dad after pulling up on the ottoman.  We are a mix of pure excitement over the start of this new milestone and completely terrified as she tests her balance all over the place.

This weekend we put up the Christmas tree and much to our surprise Claire has mostly ignored it.  We don't typically let in her the living room, so after showing her the Christmas tree she was much more interested in exploring other parts of this forbidden room like the bell under the coffee table.
