A different Thanksgiving

Well I can say we enjoyed the week off for Thanksgiving, but things didn't go as planned. I came down with a nasty stomach bug on Tuesday; Grandma got it on Wednesday; and Claire, Julie, and Aunt Becky came down with it on Thanksgiving (Aunt Sarah and Nana got it on Saturday). So instead of our usual Thanksgiving celebration, Dan, Jean and Dexter stayed home, and Aunt Becky didn't come over until well after the meal. So turkey was enjoyed by Grandma, Grandpa, myself, and Claire (while mommy slept). Despite Claire's run in with the stomach bug by the morning she was her usual chipper self and no worse for wear. Thanksgiving night we drove to Buffalo to see Nana, Papa, and Aunt Sarah to try Thanksgiving all over again on Friday (with better success). But unfortunately they came down with the stomach bug the next day. I have been instructed that we need a doctor's note to visit at Christmas.
