9 month well visit

Even though Claire turned 9 months almost two weeks ago, her well visit was scheduled for this past morning and she passed with flying colors. She is 29 3/4" tall (97%) and weighs 21 lbs 8 oz (75%). No signs of an ear infection and despite having to have her second flu shot, she was back to her happy self by the time I had to drop her off at daycare.

So...Claire is getting really smart. This morning after Julie left for work Claire and I were playing on the floor while I ate breakfast. It's a constant game of me holding my plate up in the air while playing with her with my other hand. So this morning she is trying to grab my bagel with jelly and I was resisting. She bit my left arm with her new little chompers and I let my guard down. Before I realized what had happened she had two hands and a mouth full of jelly. I set my plate down, she climbed across my legs before I was any the wiser. Then she proceeded to wipe her hands and mouth (both covered with jelly) on my shirt... apparently raspberry isn't her favorite.
