Rainly weekend Inside

This past weekend turned into a total wash, raining both Saturday and Sunday. That didn't stop Claire from exploring every room of our house. She LOVES the stairs between the living room and family room. She can pull herself up both steps. At the top step - she stops, sits-up, and looks behind to admire her accomplishment; without parental involvement she would probably tip backwards down the steps. So progress?....one new accomplishment, becomes a whole new set of worries.

A baby-gate was installed at the top of the stairs by our bedrooms to allow Claire to crawl between rooms. Her mobility is becoming increasingly challenging, there is currently a wall of toys surrounding the fireplace to keep her from getting to the hearth until we buy a gate.
