Claire at Six Months:
- Weighs between 17-18 pounds, we'll know for sure at her Well Visit at the end of this month.
- Wears size 3 diapers.
- Finally getting more hair. The dark hair she was born with has fallen out and her hair looks to be a light brown.
- Loves the Baby Bjorn, it has become her night time ritual. After dinner Claire goes in the Bjorn with daddy for a walk around the neighborhood before bedtime. It is the perfect solution for the 'witching hour'; Claire's fussy time before bed.
- Claire has tried rice cereal, oatmeal, bananas, peas, carrots, and sweet potatoes. So far oatmeal with bananas and carrots are her favorites.
- Has discovered her voice and loves making different sounds - shrieking, blowing raspberries, cooing, laughing, and umm (her version of yum for food she loves).
- Goes to bed between 7:30-8:00pm and wakes up around 7:00am.
- Take 3 naps a day, occasionally 2 - one in the morning, afternoon, and a late afternoon cat-nap.
- Rolls and Rolls and Rolls - Claire has mastered rolling over both ways and either direction.
- Is getting closer to sitting up unassisted. Same with army crawling, on her tummy she tries to scoot her body.
- Her love of standing has turned into wanting to be bounced while standing up.
- Going out to dinner has turned into a 4 person job, as Claire won't be contained in her car seat. You need 4 adults to entertain and take turns holding her.
- When playing she will choose one object over another and can pass toys between both hands.
