5 Alarm Diaper

On Friday Claire had her doctors appointment with those unfortunate shots, here is a cute photo of her sleeping afterwards (you can see the band-aids on her thighs). Claire is our tummy sleeper, we always lay her on her back or side and she always flips to her tummy to sleep.

On Saturday, dad had to work outside doing prep work for our new shed. Mom and Claire spent the afternoon at the village Farm Festival. On Sunday mom was running errands, Claire and I were at home getting ready to eat oatmeal and peaches (her favorite). Claire refused to eat which was surprising. She went in to exersaucer for a bit and made grunting noises for a few minutes. When I got her out for a diaper change, I saw a glimpse of what was waiting for me. A five alarm diaper, solids are definitely making diaper changes more interesting. I almost called Julie in for back-up. After I cleaned her up, we tried oatmeal again and she gobbled it up, while giving 'kisses' - video below.

She is getting really good at sitting up on her own, the few times she tips over is when she throws a toy out of her reach and tries to grab it or when she is sleepy.
