Happy Fourth of July!

After a long weekend, we have plenty of photos and videos to kick off a short work week. We have decided that this long weekend we would officially "quit the swaddle" cold turkey. We have attempted this for the better part of the past month and a half with mixed success. We were finally down to only swaddling for nap time and had dropped it at night. We are on day 3 with no swaddling, more updates throughout the week.

Claire will put anything and everything in her mouth, but her favorite other than her hands is her toes.
Claire knows how to use her pretty blue eyes to get whatever she wants from daddy.
Julie and I are betting on when the first tooth breaks through, she continues to enjoy her teething rings, well chilled in the fridge.

Nana and Papa came down on Friday to watch Claire, while mom had to go to work for a few hours.
Several of you have asked how we get Claire to always be so wide awake and smiling for the photos...the secret is out.
We have also found that a cold beverage works as motivation for tummy-time. A cold pop can or bottle allows us to get her to stay on her stomach for nearly twice as long.
