Remembering Great-Grandma

When we visited great-grandma a few weeks ago she generously gave Claire her piano. She received the piano from her parents one Christmas. She shared with us the story of her receiving the piano. She came down the stairs Christmas morning and opened all of her presents under the tree. Her parents kept looking at her like something was wrong, after awhile they asked if she noticed anything else. Grandma looked around the room confused by their question and saw the new piano in the corner of the living room. It had been there the entire time, she was so distracted by the presents under the tree, she didn't notice the piano. Her father had purchased the piano from Eastman; it had been used in one of their practice rooms.

Grandma was an accomplished music teacher and choir director, we are so grateful that Claire will have this wonderful gift to remember her. We look forward to sharing Grandma's stories with Claire. We love you and miss you so much.
