Flying solo

Today was my first solo day with Claire. We started out with a fussy morning, which is not typical, I think Claire was not happy about daddy going back to work. But after her mid-morning feeding she was content and we settled in to her typical: eat, awake, sleep, poop routine. I managed to get laundry done, work on her birth announcements, and happily discovered she is not bothered by the vacuum.

Claire had her 2 week check-up yesterday. Our doctor wanted Claire back to her birth weight of 9 lbs. We were a bit concerned since we don't know exactly how much she gets at each feeding. Apparently she is getting plenty because she weighs 9 lbs 10 oz., up almost a pound from last week! She is 22.5 inches long, growing 1.5 inches from last week.
